God is Near
Luke 10 - we are called to be ambassadors for the LORD, and present the
message that "God is Near". Prepare for Jesus to show up, because
God is near.
Being Forgiven
Psalm 51 - we can be forgiven from our sin when we humbly confess and
repent to the LORD. Our response to being forgiven will be
demonstrated in deeds of repentance and a contrite heart.
Forgiving
Matthew 18:23-33 - Using the parable of the unrighteous servant we
discover that forgiving others releases the forgiver. As we forgive
we come to understand what it truly means to be forgiven.
Hearing From God
John 16:26-27 (and various other passages) - build your confidence in
hearing from God by understanding the role of trusted advisors,
circumstances, the Word of God, and insight.
Regarding
Motherhood
1 Corinthians 4:1-5 and Colossians 1:9-14 - Motherhood is an awesome
stewardship. What does God expect of you, and how do you measure up
to His standards?
Intimate Friends
John 15:9-17 - Jesus invites us to have an intimate friendship with Him.
Your relationship can develop from being an acquaintance, casual friend,
close friend and then an intimate friend.
Faith is Obedience
Matthew 14:22-33 - Peter recognized Jesus and obeyed when he stepped out
of the boat. When we have faith in God (not the outcome) there is no
risk. God reveals Himself through our obedience and our response is
to worship.
